Also, do any companies include the operating system disk separately? For example, if I need to format, I don’t want all of the preinstalled garbage on the clean install. Thanks.

hari k asked: I want to know how many laptops are allowed per head when we are travelling from US to India. I have to carry two laptops with me. So can some one tell me, if it is allowed to carry more than one laptop? I doubt if the US customs or India customs will object if I carry two. I have (did have) a 3 year old Toshiba laptop, it costed somewhere over $1000. How much would it cost to get another Toshiba thats just as good? Would it cost the same as the one I had? Or have the prices of laptops gone down since I bought it?
