race_car_bed asked: I want a pretty stripped down machine. I don’t want any extras. Are there any companies that sell laptops like this?
Also, do any companies include the operating system disk separately? For example, if I need to format, I don’t want all of the preinstalled garbage on the clean install. Thanks.

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ asked: My laptop is completely TOAST!!!
I have (did have) a 3 year old Toshiba laptop, it costed somewhere over $1000. How much would it cost to get another Toshiba thats just as good? Would it cost the same as the one I had? Or have the prices of laptops gone down since I bought it?

like will they ask for a permit or something if you exceed this number of laptops?
i’m planning on buying 5 laptops for my friends back in the philippines… do you think the airport officials will allow me to put these laptops in my luggage?

Tanya asked: I noticed that my old laptops battery didn’t hold it’s charge anymore. It would have to be plugged in the entire time otherwise it would shut off and die right away.
With my new laptop, I want to make sure that its battery will hold it’s charge and last longer than my older one. What steps should I take or what should I do to make sure it will last?

Shinobi asked: I have a Compaq Presario V2000 and the dc jack has become loose and can no longer be charged. I don’t want to pay to get it fixed because there’s a chance that it may be irreparable. For a similar amount of money, I think I can find a used laptop to just put my hard drive into. So does anyone know what other laptops are compatible with my hard drive?
